Well, it's been a frenetic couple of months and, amongst the tumult of the Lothian Submission, the Varuna Award application, that nasty little coughing virus and my boss vanishing to Prague for a month, the historical mini-series 'Mary Bryant' screened on Australian television. What is the relevance of this? Well, as well as telling the story of the only convicts to successfully escape the NSW prison colony (I don't remember being taught that at school)and rating its socks off, 'Mary Bryant' provided yours truly with six weeks of gainful employment last year as a film extra.
I was one of the good people who didn't take their camera onto set and so have had to wait until now to share a few choice screen grabs. These images remain the copyright of the relevant production companies and no attempt to infringe that copyright should be inferred.
