Letter: No confidence, indeed
Seems I have a letter in today's Sydney Morning Herald. I reproduce the text below, for your convenience.
"Now Kevin Rudd is again Prime Minister, I trust the media will rise to the occasion.
I want to know his hobbies and who he likes in Game of Thrones. I want to know what his kitchen looks like and if his nipples appear on a menu anywhere. I wish to confirm the sexuality of his partner, to know why he chose to have children and be alerted if he ever raises the issue of, say, prostate cancer before an audience of men. I want a minute-by-minute assessment as to whether he looks confident, speaks well or dresses fashionably.
Above all, don't bother me with any details of his policies. That can't possibly be relevant."
