Postscript to the Terror Forum
So, where does all of this discussion leave us?
Firstly, the Draft Bill is now in the Senate. There is still a chance. If you haven't yet written, faxed and emailed every politician you can, now is the time. Phil Ruddock, as Attorney General, could remove the sedition provisions at any point. His and everyone elses' contacts can all be found at: http://www.aph.gov.au/whoswho/index.htm
Secondly, I recommend http://www.newmatilda.com and their campaign to develop an Australian Human Rights Act to your attention.
Thirdly, to all a good night. If the Sutherland Greens manage to arrange a screening of "Weapon of Mass Distortion", I will let you know.
