I have a distinct feeling I should know better than to get involved in a meme. But nonetheless;

1. Walked through an old cemetery and picked up a skull.

2. Eaten nettles.

3. Entered a swimming pool dressed in Georgian costume (petticoat, skirt and overdress, shoes and stockings). On camera.

4. Wounded a man with a knife. On camera. For real.

5. Performed poetry to the accompaniment of a jazz trio.

6. Submitted a 45 minute film for an Honours thesis (it had a plot).

7. Set a trip wire trap on a secluded bush path. While dressed as an orc.

8. Felt a cold spot.

9. Attended Up-Helly-Ah, the fire festival in the Shetland Islands.

10. Chatted with Peter Weir about pyramids.

#10 is exceptionally cool. Peter Weir has done some amazing work, including my all-time favourite movie (Dead Poet's Society). :)

Peter Weir

Agreed, he is one of the best filmmakers currently active in the world. Also a very nice fellow, who has been known to agree to interviews with people from fanzines. The interview I conducted is on the TR website (Australiana), but it doesn't contain anything about pyramids. We had that conversation after I turned off the recorder.

Still waiting for the next entry...
Or is this some sort of allegory for Firefly?

Me, or Kyla? If Kyla, she's probably not going to post that often -- the account is more for writing comments, but may have occasional updates.

If me, I'm not sure which post you're waiting for.

Kyla, akchewally. Na, I didn't expect her to post too often. But I hoped to prod some response. Now I realise that it is useful to have a blog just so you can have the "LiveJournal Username" and nifty graphic.

You should get one yourself. It's free and useful (you can also set up a friends page, to check the journals of the people you're interested in at one go).

From your favourite sister!

Well, I've probably done more of those than most people, or at least been there to witness you do them. The ones I miss out on I make up for by having been directed by the Wachowski (If that's how you spell it!) brothers, chatting to the Meravingian (ditto) and having laurence fishburn and carrie-anne moss stick guns in my face and glare at me. Hey, it's my 15 minutes of fame and I'm going to make the most of it I can !

#1 and #9. On the same day. Pretty easy when you're surrounded by Vikings.
